The Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services (DPSCS) is seeking dedicated candidates to fill important roles within our department. This position is responsiblefor the development and delivery of curriculum to include training objectivesassessment techniques and practical applications as both an independentfunction and in support of public safety research to support programsadministered by the Leadership Development Institute and within DPSCS. This positionis responsible for the coordination and teaching of Leadership Development Institute (LDI) programs and otherrelated tasks as deemed appropriate by the Director.
Additionally it is theresponsibility of the Program Coordinator to follow trends and updates in adultlearning theory and practice.
Education: A Bachelorsdegree from an accredited college or university.
Experience: Four years ofexperience in administrative or professional work.

1. Candidates may substitute 30college credit hours from an accredited college or university for each year upto four years of the required experience.
2. Candidates may substitutethe possession of a Bachelors degree from an accredited college or universityfor the required experience.
3. Candidates may substitutethe possession of a Masters degree from an accredited college or universityfor the required experience.
4. Candidates may substituteU.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officerinvolving staff work related to the administration of rules regulationspolicy procedures and processes or overseeing or coordinating unit operationsor functioning as a staff assistant to a higher ranking commissioned officer ona year-for- year basis for the required experience.

Two years of work experience coordinatingdeveloping implementing and teaching First Line Supervisor FIrst Line Administrator Leadership Human ResourcesProfessional Development and/or other training programs for adult learners

Experience in planningteaching organizing and implementing training for public safety professionals.
Experiencein efficient planning and control of curriculum development and delivery
