Job Summary

permanent position

Position: Electrician

Key Responsibilities:

- Install maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes

- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues and perform necessary repairs

- Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and equipment

- Collaborate with other team members to plan and complete projects

- Read and interpret blueprints technical diagrams and schematics

- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company and industry standards

- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used

- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times

- Stay informed about advancements in the electrical field and attend training as needed

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program or equivalent experience

- Valid electrician license

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an electrician

- Knowledge of local and national electrical codes

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints technical diagrams and schematics

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Willingness to work flexible hours and be on call for emergencies

- Physically able to perform the duties of the job including lifting and climbing ladders

- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
