IT Project Manager
1. Project Management
Lead and manage projects to ensure alignment with defined scope objectives schedules and budgets.
Oversee multiple interdependent workstreams ensuring clear consistent and timely reporting.
Capable in identify potential risks and able to provide solutions to avoid/mitigate.
2. Stakeholder Communication
Engage with stakeholders to provide updates on project progress changes and risks.
Understand business requirements propose value-adding ideas and maintain open communication with internal teams and external vendors.
Facilitate meetings with stakeholders and senior leadership including the preparation of approval documentation for project initiatives.
3. Project Governance and Standards
Apply standardized project management methodologies and tools.
Oversee Change Management procedures and ensure thorough project documentation.
Ensure compliance with internal standards and specifications and conduct lesson learnt / project post-mortem review
4. Team and Vendor Management
Manage and ensure quality delivery by external suppliers.
Lead project teams through Site Acceptance Test (SAT) System Integration Testing (SIT) User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
5. Agile/Scrum Team Leadership
Plan and facilitate Scrum ceremonies remove team impediments and coach teams on Agile best practices.
Proficient in gathering requirements through user stories prioritizing tasks facilitating workshops and documenting outcomes.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and track team performance using relevant metrics.
Collaborate with Product Owners on backlog management and promote Agile principles across teams.
Job Requirements
Bachelors Degree with honours in Information Technology or any related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in managing and implementing software projects.
Proficient in both Waterfall and Agile project delivery methodologies.
Strong capability in project tracking and performance monitoring.
Certified in PMP / Scrum Master practices.
Prior experience in the ITSM ITAM ITOM deployment is preffered.
