Our client is a rapidly scaling FCA-regulated fintech operating across multiple European markets. Serving millions of customers the organisation provides accessible technology-enabled financial solutions spanning digital accounts payments and regulated credit products.

The business is entering a critical phase of platform evolution and operational scale focused on:

  • Harmonising product experiences across markets

  • Strengthening payments infrastructure

  • Enhancing regulatory and financial crime frameworks

  • Driving operational efficiency across a multi-jurisdiction environment

As part of this next stage of growth the company is hiring a Head of Product FinTech to lead complex regulated product delivery across UK operations.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of:

  • Product strategy & execution

  • Payments & fintech infrastructure

  • FCA-regulated environments

  • Financial crime & compliance collaboration

  • Cross-functional operational scale

You will own delivery from idea through launch and optimisation partnering closely with engineering compliance financial crime operations and executive stakeholders.

This is not a remote role. The successful candidate must be physically present in London.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a product roadmap across regulated fintech offerings

  • Lead end-to-end lifecycle delivery from concept through launch and optimisation

  • Prioritise features within a complex regulatory and operational environment

  • Partner with Engineering Compliance Financial Crime and Operations teams
  • Engage senior stakeholders including C-level leadership

  • Manage external product and technology partners where required

  • Ensure ongoing alignment with FCA and applicable regulatory frameworks

  • Work closely with financial crime teams to evolve controls and risk mitigation

  • Balance innovation with governance and consumer protection obligations

  • Navigate complex technical dependencies

  • Drive operational efficiency initiatives

  • Oversee post-launch performance optimisation through data-led insight

  • Utilise SQL and analytics tools to inform prioritisation

  • Translate data into actionable product improvements

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 812 years in progressive Product Management within regulated B2C fintech
  • Strong payments ecosystem expertise
  • Demonstrable experience in FCA-regulated environments
  • Proven ability to manage high-complexity delivery with cross-functional dependencies
  • Experience engaging directly with executive stakeholders
  • Hands-on delivery-oriented operator (not purely strategic)
  • Strong communicator capable of tailoring messaging across audiences
  • Comfortable operating within scale-up dynamics
