Network Engineer
Location: Gulberg 3 Lahore
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience Required: Minimum 1 Year (Fortinet Firewall Hands-on Experience Mandatory)
Candidate Preference: Lahore-Based Candidates
Compensation: 100k -150k
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in configuring managing and troubleshooting enterprise network infrastructures with hands-on experience in Cisco devices and Fortinet firewalls.
Knowledge of Windows Server administration will be considered an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Design implement and maintain enterprise network infrastructure (LAN WAN VPN Wireless)
- Configure manage and troubleshoot Cisco routers switches and networking devices
- Deploy monitor and maintain Fortinet firewalls to ensure secure connectivity
- Perform network performance monitoring analysis and capacity planning

Implement and enforce network security policies and procedures

Provide technical support for escalated network-related issues

Collaborate with internal IT teams to support business operations
- Document network configurations changes and troubleshooting processes

Assist in disaster recovery planning and implementation
- Support Windows Server environments including Active Directory DNS and DHCP (preferred)
Requirements

Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role

Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking devices
- Practical expertise in Fortinet firewall configuration and security policies
- Good understanding of TCP/IP BGP OSPF EIGRP VLANs VPNs and monitoring tools

Familiarity with Windows Server administration (plus point)

Relevant certifications such as CCNA CCNP or Fortinet NSE (preferred)

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure

Good communication and documentation skills
Education
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
