We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.
In this role you will:
The role is a specialist role and is part of the small business banking sales force. The incumbent is expected to be a technical expert in one or several product categories as relevant to market such as FX/etc. The role is
- To assist Premier Small Business(PSB) RMs in deepening and growing client relationships through identifying and uncovering clients needs identifying relevant wealth solution and technical analysis and assisting PSB RMs in presenting and explaining solution(s) to client.
- To conduct reviews with PSB RMs assess product suitability and market and regulatory change impact to products held by clients as appropriate identify opportunities and manage risks.
- To be responsible for their own effectiveness development and results. Specialist or Subject Matter Experts where matrix management and understanding of Group strategy is expected. Their contribution is often as a technical/professional specialist in their field.
- To suggest ideas and contribute to implementing actions that improve customer service quality or the way teams and individuals work together.
- Adhere to HSBC policy procedures and control requirements applicable to day-to-day working exceptional and project activities and raise any concerns about actual or potential issues promptly in line with reporting and escalation procedures.
To be successful in the role you should meet the following requirements:
- University degree or above
- At least 5 years relationship management experience with strong client skills with the ability to deliver a strong client experience and provide needs-based solutions
- Deep knowledge of specific complex financial solutions and products including the knowledge of financial markets social-economic dynamics and regulatory requirement relevant to the products
- Demonstrated ability and experience to correctly identify client needs
- A solid understanding of global anti money laundering standards
- Team player with collaborative skills
- Knowledge of local and Group compliance regulations
- Specialization in one or more product categories
- Passionate about small business segment
- Sound knowledge of commercial products with good understanding of Small Business segment
- Appreciation of the changing economic social and governmental environment in HBCN
- Effective working with Compliance Credit & Risk and Internal Control to ensure a balanced risk operating environment
