Job Summary
- STL (single thread leader) for integrating hard disk media into new product
- Communicate and manage head configuration process changes and qualification
- Provide media component spec
- Improve media yield performance and reliability meeting HDD Dev requirements
- Provide Backend PE support for new product development
- Data analysis from media to HDD during development
- HDD media yield and reliability monitor
- Manage post LPR major EC
Qualifications :
- BS degree or higher in physics electrical engineering communication or related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years in HDD industry experience
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- The ability to clearly communicate and document findings
- Programming experience preferably SAS Python language
- Willingness to travel abroad for short periods
PREFERRED:
- Experience with hard disk drive integration media process head media characterization
SKILLS:
- Strong understanding of magnetic recording physics and media technology
- Experience with media manufacturing processes
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g. JMP Python) and statistical methods
- Demonstrated ability to lead crossfunctional engineering efforts
- Strong communication documentation and configurationmanagement skills
- Experience in HDD development NPI or component engineering preferred
