Job Summary

Develop detailed test plans test cases and test scripts.
Define testing scope objectives and timelines.
Estimate testing efforts and resource requirements.
Perform functional regression integration and system testing.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using automation tools.
Execute API testing and database validation.
Conduct performance and load testing where applicable.
Identify log and track defects using defect tracking tools.
Work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.
Verify bug fixes and ensure quality standards are met.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning Daily Standups Retrospectives).
Provide quality metrics and reports to stakeholders.
Guide and mentor junior QA engineers.
Promote best practices in testing and quality assurance.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT or related field.
5 years of experience in software testing.
Strong experience in: Test automation tools (e.g. Selenium Cypress etc.) API testing (Postman/REST Assured) SQL for database validation and Agile/Scrum methodology
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins GitLab CI).
Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and leadership abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
