About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Bilingual Clinical Support Specialist (Spanish-English) with a nursing or healthcare background to support a U.S.-based clinical team.
In this role you will manage patient communications in both Spanish and English coordinate care and support clinical and administrative workflows while ensuring accuracy empathy and professionalism at all times.

Key Responsibilities
Bilingual Patient Communication & Care Coordination

Communicate with patients in Spanish and English via phone text email and secure patient portals

Manage appointment scheduling reminders and follow-ups using EMR/EHR systems

Reinforce provider-directed care instructions within scope (no diagnosing or prescribing)

Coordinate referrals follow-ups and continuity of care

Provide compassionate and professional support to patients and families
Clinical Documentation & Compliance

Maintain accurate detailed and confidential patient records

Support billing documentation and insurance coordination as needed

Collaborate with clinicians and administrative staff to ensure a seamless patient experience

Ensure compliance with HIPAA and U.S. healthcare regulations

Utilize approved digital and AI-supported tools to assist with documentation structuring and workflow efficiency (AI supports workflow only not clinical decision-making)
Required Qualifications

Nursing education or clinical healthcare experience required (CNA MA RN or similar preferred)

Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken)

Minimum English proficiency: B2 (professional written and verbal communication required)

At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare telehealth or medical office setting

Strong patient-centered communication and interpersonal skills

Experience using EMR/EHR systems (e.g. Athena Kareo SimplePractice or similar)

Highly organized detail-oriented and reliable in a remote setting

Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance

Availability during U.S. business hours
