About the Role

The Learning & Development (L&D) Coordinator is central to supporting Ruahs commitment to being a learning organisation dedicated to building the capability of leaders and staff. This role coordinates learning activities across Ruah including planning sourcing and implementing programs managing the Learning Management System and delivering organisational induction.

You will work collaboratively with leaders subject matter experts and stakeholders to understand capability needs ensure compliance requirements are met and support a highquality learning experience for all staff.

This is a fulltime permanent position.

What were looking for

The successful applicant will be required to meet the following criteria:

  • Previous experience in a similar Learning & Development or training coordination role.
  • Experience administering an LMS and using authoring tools to support learning design and delivery. Experience using Litmos highly regarded.
  • Strong planning organising and timemanagement skills.
  • Experience using data analytics to support continuous improvement.
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
  • Capability to deliver induction training and presentations.
  • Impeccable attention to detail accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint) and other authoring tools.
  • A proactive clientfocused mindset aligned with Ruahs values.

The following criteria are considered desirable:

  • Working toward a Cert IV in Training & Assessment or a HR qualification.
  • Experience working in communitybased organisations.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and ability to work respectfully with culturally diverse people.
