About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and engaged Health & Safety Coordinator to support safe project delivery across the Malabar Systems Alliance. This role is ideal for someone confident on site highly organised and passionate about driving bestpractice safety behaviours on a major NSW infrastructure program.
About the Project
The Malabar Systems Alliance delivers upgrades to Liverpool & Glenfields Wastewater Treatment Plants improving system capacity environmental performance and longterm reliability. The project focuses on modernising treatment processes implementing advanced technology and supporting Sydneys growing wastewater infrastructure needs.
Key Responsibilities
Support sitebased health and safety activities to ensure compliance with WHS legislation and project requirements.
Conduct and assist with site inspections risk assessments and safety observations.
Coordinate safety documentation reporting and the tracking of corrective actions.
Assist with incident management processes including reporting investigations and closeout.
Facilitate onboarding inductions and training compliance for project personnel.
Prepare and distribute safety communications and toolbox material.
Partner with supervisors and engineers to promote a positive and proactive safety culture.
Required Skills and Competencies
Experience in a health and safety role within construction engineering or infrastructure.
Strong understanding of WHS legislation systems and site processes.
Confident communicator who can engage effectively with site teams.
Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary project environment.
