Job Summary
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering Paper Science or Mechanical Engineering
- At least 10 years of experience in engineering design is preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering design as a facilities/plant engineer or as a consulting engineer
Responsibilities:
- Perform conceptual and detailed designs for Pulp and Paper Technologies
- Use best practices and industry knowledge to solve complex engineering problems
- Interface with other disciplines project management and the client to provide fully-coordinated projects
- Support field construction efforts including reviewing submittals responding to questions from clients and contractors and performing field walks.
- Perform quality reviews on designs performed by others
- Mentor junior engineers on basic engineering applications and principles.
- Participate in the development of proposals budgets and schedules for process-specific work
