Position Overview
We are seeking for a highly experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to support complex large-scale commercial and industrial projects throughout Central and Southwest Ohio. This leadership role will oversee multidisciplinary electrical design and field coordination while managing a team of engineers and technical staff.
This opportunity is ideal for an electrical professional with strong technical depth in power systems and experience leading teams across sophisticated facility types.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical engineering design and execution for commercial and industrial facilities
- Supervise and mentor a team of approximately 12 direct reports
- Oversee high-voltage and medium-voltage systems design and integration
- Manage power distribution lighting systems transformers PLCs telecom and data infrastructure
- Coordinate across design construction and project management teams
- Utilize industry-standard platforms for modeling collaboration and project tracking
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes standards and client requirements
Qualifications & Technical Requirements (All Required)
- 10 years of progressive electrical engineering experience
- Journeyman License
- Experience managing direct reports and leading engineering teams
- Hands-on experience with all of the following systems:
- High Voltage systems
- Medium Voltage systems
- Telecom infrastructure
- Data systems
- Lighting systems
- Power distribution
- Transformers
- PLCs
- Strong background in electrical system integration across complex facilities
- Ability to oversee multiple projects and coordinate cross-functional teams
- Solid understanding of applicable electrical codes and industry standards
Industry & Software Exposure
Experience supporting sophisticated facilities such as healthcare aviation hospitality military data centers warehousing or industrial environments is highly valued. (Experience in one or more is sufficient.)
Familiarity with platforms such as Revit Procore SolidWorks Navisworks or BIM 360 is preferred. (Experience with one or more is sufficient; this serves as a reference point.)
