Location: Grand Island NE
Contract Type: Travel
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 3x12 Nights (6:00pm7:00am)
Pay: $2466/week
Completion Bonus: $2500 per contract (up to $7500 after three contracts)
Job Description
ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in an LDRP unit. This unit manages approximately 400 births annually and follows AWHONN staffing guidelines. Nurses care for obstetrics antepartum postpartum and post-surgical GYN patients. Candidates must have strong labor experience and be comfortable titrating drips. Epic charting is used.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide care for laboring antepartum postpartum and GYN surgical patients
- Monitor and manage high-risk pregnancies (HTN diabetes)
- Titrate drips including Pitocin Magnesium and Procardia
- Follow AWHONN ratio guidelines (1:1 laboring; 1:3 postpartum)
- Support breastfeeding-friendly practices
- Document all care in Epic EMR
- Participate in orientation and required competency testing
- Work every other weekend and holidays as needed
Qualifications
- Active Nebraska RN license required
- Minimum 3 years Labor & Delivery experience required
- BLS certification required
- NRP certification required
- Must pass open-book skills exam (90% required to pass)
- Must comply with artificial nail policy
- Must meet 50-mile radius rule (Drivers license required at submission)
- Cannot be employed with CommonSpirit/CHI/Dignity facilities
