Essential Responsibilities
Coordinate several technology/design teams to assure the availability of the hardware for the engine demonstrator.
Support the experimental test engineering to prepare the test cell to accommodate the engine demonstrator.
Prepare the test spec to collect all the contribution from the design teams and relevant exit criteria.
Support Shop to assembly the modified engine.
Support experimental team in definition and application of the instrumentation.
Collect data from the test and support analysis of the results.
Support shop in teardown and inspection of the engine and collecting of evidence.
Manage execution through program reviews problem resolution and risk abatement.
Support of installed base including activities such as customer issue resolution fleet issues service bulletin implementation Monitoring & Diagnostics fleet configuration. Maintenance of fleet data outage management.
Broadening knowledge of own technical discipline to execute policy/strategy. May include support roles with specialized technical field of knowledge; still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills.
Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Resolves issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
A job at this level requires good interpersonal skills and may be required to lead a junior team. For customer facing roles develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Explains technical information to others.
Qualifications / Requirements
Masters degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering
Technical Accountability/Ownership and Customer oriented attitude
Good English and Italian language knowledge both written and oral
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Experience in test cell and instrumentation
Work Visa in accordance with local regulation is required

Experience in management of aeronautical products in-service
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to document plan and execute programs
