HSE Facilities Engineer
Job Summary
EHS Facilities Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that the organization follow all relevant safety standards. Will work with management to identify hazards develop plans to mitigate those hazards and implement these plans on an ongoing basis.
Will coordinate the activities of the Risk Prevention and Protection Service ensuring the execution of the tasks assigned as ASPP as per . 81/2008. Will identify critical processes for the environment safety and health at work identify hazards estimate risks and assess them; research / study / design the most suitable prevention protection and control measures
Reporting to the HES Facility Manager in this role you will prepare and deploy business improvement and correction plans. Will conduct internal audits and Gemba walks problem solving investigation and KPI reporting activities will analyze injuries accidents near misses safety spot documenting the results and contributing to the identification of the related corrective actions.
Will work with the team for the management of the primary aspects relating to the health and safety of workers and to the environment acting proactively to achieve the corporate HSE objectives elaborating proposals for the continuous improvement of performance.
Qualifications :
Experience Requirements:
- Previous experience of 3 years at minimum in the role in a structured company
- Mastery of safety and the environment regulations
- Knowledge of international Standards on Safety and Environmental Management Systems
- Ability to analyze data generate measures run reports work under pressure and deliver effective changes within the business
- Flexibility proactivity and organizational autonomy
- Problem solving and stress management skills
- Ability to interact at all levels of the organization and to work in team
- Pragmatism and speed of action
- Excellent communication skills
- Good knowledge of the MS Office with particular regard to Excel and Power Point
- Good knowledge of English written and spoken
Qualifications
- Specialized or technical degree preferably relating to the role
- Specific qualifying course for the professional figure of ASPP provided by 81/08
- Qualified Internal Auditor of one or more Management Systems (ISO -50001)
