Job Summary
What success looks like in this role:
Monitor Alerts: Regularly monitor and review security alerts generated by the Email protection systems (Darktrace Email protection).
Assist with Incident Investigation: Help investigate and analyze security incidents under the guidance of senior analysts.
Support Rule Configuration: Assist in the configuration and updating of detection rules and alerts.
Basic Log Management: Aid in the integration and management of log sources within the Email protection systems (Darktrace Email protection).
Generate Basic Reports: Create basic reports on security events and system performance.
Perform Data Analysis: Assist in analyzing security data to identify potential threats.
Maintain System Documentation: Update and maintain documentation related to Exabeam configurations and procedures.
Provide User Support: Offer support to team members on using the Email protection systems (Darktrace Email protection) and features.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
Requires a Bachelors Degree in Security Networking Technology and a minimum of 2 years related experience or equivalent.
Required Knowledge in Darktrace (1 or 2 years of experience).
*Experience working in a SOC team.
Experience in cybersecurity alerts and SIEM alerting.
Ability to troubleshoot or assist customer or advanced teams as required.
Proficient documentation skills are required.
