What youll do

As our Policy Officer within Residential Aged Care you will lead policy administration performance measurement and portfolio project initiatives that strengthen governance quality and risk systems.

This role sits at the intersection of compliance and improvement ensuring policies are contemporary embedded and practical while supporting accreditation standards and continuous improvement across services.

Youll work closely with senior leaders managers and portfolio teams to coordinate policy reviews implement governance improvements and drive sustainable change.

Youll be trusted to make a valuable impact by:

  • Leading the Residential Aged Care policy review implementation and communication process
  • Providing advice on governance standards and strengthening policy administration systems
  • Supporting quality risk and accreditation frameworks across the portfolio
  • Contributing to performance measurement project and program initiatives
  • Embedding change management approaches that create sustainable improvements

What youll bring

To thrive in this role you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in policy development administration and governance
  • Strong analytical problem-solving and report-writing capability
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Experience supporting quality risk or accreditation systems
  • A Certificate or Diploma in a quantitative discipline organisational performance project management (or working towards)

We would also love you to have:

  • Experience in aged care health or community services
  • Knowledge of change management and sustainability methodologies
  • Experience translating projects into sustainable business-as-usual processes
  • Confidence working across multiple stakeholders in a complex organisation
