The Sales Director is a highly motivated and results-oriented leader who willbe responsible fordriving sales initiatives within the Companys Testing segment across a wide variety of industry markets. As a key member of our salesfunction the Directoris responsible formanaging and developing ahigh performingteam leading revenue generation and market expansion and developing and nurturing client Director willleveragemarket analytics toidentifygrowth opportunities and make strategic decisions that drive revenue performancewith full ownership of revenue growth will also apply strong business acumen tooptimizefinancial planning and resource ideal candidate willpossessa strong sales and leadership backgroundandexcellentcommunicationand negotiation in thetesting inspection and certificationsector is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Revenue Generation & Market Expansion
Develop and implement action plans to expand market share with full ownershipfor achievingambitious revenue growth targets. This includesidentifyingtarget markets defining a clear value proposition and creating effective sales plans.
Sets priorities and conducts long-term and short-term goal setting for sales team members and uses data to measure andmonitorsales processesidentifyissues and enhance performance.
Analyze sales data and market trends toidentifyopportunities forecast sales and make data-driven decisions tooptimizethe sales funnel.
Own the entire sales process from lead generation to closing and continually refine it to improve efficiency andeffectiveness to achieve revenue growth targets
Work cross-functionally with operations product development sales operations/marketing/communications and finance teams to ensure alignment on businessobjectivesand a seamless customer experience.
Participate in due diligence and acquisition meetings to evaluate potential business opportunities and lead the integration of new businesses into the sales organization to ensure a seamless transition.
Leadership and Team Management
Lead coach and develop a high-performing sales team by setting clear performance expectations and providing regular feedback and mentorship.
Oversee the entire employee lifecycleincluding hiring onboarding engagementperformancemanagementand professional development ensuring the team is equipped to meet and exceed targets.
Foster a positive and competitive team culture that promotes collaboration accountability and continuous improvement.
Business Development and Key Accounts
Participate in high-stakessales activities including presentations and negotiations to close strategic deals and support the sales team.
Nurture relationships with key accounts ensuring customersatisfactionandidentifyingopportunities for upselling and renewal.
Stay ahead of industry trends competitor activities and market shifts to adjust strategy andmaintaina competitive advantage.
Budgeting Forecasting & Resource Management
Develop and manage the sales budget ensuring resources areallocatedeffectively to drive revenue growth.
Implement and manage sales tools and technologies (like CRM systems) to enhance team productivity.
Provide regular reports and forecasts on sales performance market conditions and strategic initiatives to senior leadership.
Required Experience and Skills:
7-10 years of experience intechnical industrial services or related industrysales with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership capacity
Bachelors degree in a relevant field
Demonstrated people leadership self-initiative and resourceutilizationskills
Advanced skills in analyzing data go-to-market research andfinancial management
Excellent oral and written communication skills to build strong customer relationships as well as work effectively and collaborate internally
Strong critical thinking with the ability toanticipateand solve problems in a systematic manner
Ability to manage and coordinate multiple responsibilities and projects in a fast-paced and highly professional environment
Ability to navigate a broad range of team memberswithin the sales operations and corporate services functions
Familiarity with and ability to navigate Microsoft Office applications includingexpertisein Excel-based analysis of large data sets
Additionalrequirements:
Ability to travelup to 50%
Valid drivers licenseand acceptable driving record
Work Conditions:
Work is performed primarily in an office environment with regular travel to company offices and client locations
