Job Description
As a Security Officer - Access Control Driver in Beatrice NE you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced manufacturing location where you will manage access control check credentials and badges and monitor entry points to help support site rules and help to deter security-related incidents. You will stay visible conduct routine patrols document activity using a computer or tablet and deliver helpful customer service with clear communication. This is a driving role requiring a valid drivers license per AU Driver Policy Requirements supported by teamwork and integrity.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients at a manufacturing and industrial location by following site-specific security-related procedures access control policies and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Control entry and exit for employees contractors and visitors by verifying identification issuing temporary credentials as directed maintaining visitor logs and directing guests to designated check-in areas.
- Manage gate and vehicle access by confirming delivery and pickup information coordinating with site contacts for authorization and monitoring inbound and outbound traffic flow to help support orderly operations.
- Respond to incidents alarms and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner document actions taken and notify site leadership and/or emergency services as required by post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas including entrances parking areas and perimeter zones and complete security-related reports and logs in a timely manner.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
