The Role:

The Front Desk Agent is under the direct supervision of the Front Desk Supervisor welcomes and serves guests in a courteousefficientand friendly check in and check out for guests. Maintains guest confidentiality of all addition toproviding outstanding guest service to internal and external guests.

Responsibilities:

• Build guestand team member positiverelations.

• Participatesindepartmentaland companymeetings.

• Ensure consistent high-quality service to all our team members and guests.

• Perform a friendly professional andtimelycheck inand checkout processes for arrivals and departures.

• Assigns guest accommodationsin accordance withprocedures and SOPs.

• Answer phones within 3 rings while following the company phone script.

• Accurately take messages forguestand initiate actions as needed.

• Ensure proper ID and a form of payment is obtained during guestcheck in.

• Create and update guest reservations upon request based on hotelavailability.

• Followsroom availability and reports any issues to supervisor.

• Handles assigned bank in accordancetoestablished internalcontrolsandperformsaccurateaccount postings to guest folios.

• Maintains knowledge of hotel occupancy statusspecial events in-house groups and other situations affecting thefrontdesks daily operation.

• Processes guest payments and accounts upon checkout in an efficienttimely andaccuratemanner.

• Able to articulateallamenity offeringsof the hotel including catering rooms packages and F&B outlets.

• Brings any problems to the attention of the manager or supervisor on duty.

• Must proactively prioritize needs and effectively manage resources.

• Immediately report any safety hazards problems or maintenance issues to theappropriate party.

• Performs related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Experience with hotel operating systems preferred.
• Previous experience with computers preferred.

Target Salary Range: $17.00 per hour
