Transactional Finance Team Leader

About the role
Were looking for a Transactional Finance Team Leader to join our Finance team and play a key role in successfully leading and developing a team of finance assistants and senior finance assistant responsible for the organisations purchase ledger processes encompassing our company values and driving a continuous improvement culture.
Promote working to team KPIs to ensure accuracy and adherence to the organisations policies controls and SLAs whilst building and maintaining excellent working relationships with both internal and external key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities
Ownership and reconciliation of team invoice processing and import activities.
Ownership of team invoice and case management for additional fees and charges.
Ownership of sales finance system banking upload.
Ownership of the reviewing and resolving jobs in the below workflow steps:
Ensure jobs in Invoice Review and Close process are reviewed and actioned within a 48 hour SLA.
Build relationships with repairers in order to resolve any invoicing queries that may arise.
Ensure working paper items raised by the Management Accountants are cleared within the month of being raised.
Weekly reporting to management containing: Invoicing SLA Email SLA Workflow step progress.
Management of team processes that record and resolve non-compliant invoices.
Carrying out monthly team 1-2-1s documented in the HR system and providing areas of focus.
Providing Team development and training.
Ensuring the team manage Internal and external query resolution.
Ensure all process are documented.
Work with the internal/external teams to create process efficiencies.
Skills and experience
People leadership experience
Purchase Ledger knowledge
High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure
Advanced Excel skills
Ability to manage time and prioritise
Good verbal and written communication skills
