SUMMARY
BGIS Integrated Technical Services is experiencing significant growth and we are looking to add service technicians across all regions in Calgary Alberta. Would you like to join one of Canadas largest HVAC companies and expand your knowledge and skills as an HVAC Journeyperson
Do you have experience working in an HVAC service department
Do you have your Alberta Gasfitter Class B or are you working toward it
Do you hold your HVAC or Refrigeration Technician certification or are you working toward your Red Seal
Are you looking to grow your career as an HVAC Apprentice in Alberta
The HVAC Apprentice will work under the supervision of a Journeyperson and within the limits of company policies and trade certification requirements. They are responsible for operating facility systems performing preventative and corrective maintenance and completing routine services on mechanical and related building systems.
The HVAC Apprenticeship Program in Alberta requires a combination of technical training and onthejob hours as outlined by Albertas Apprenticeship and Industry Training (AIT) standards.
A registered Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Apprentice or a related HVAC trade apprentice with a valid Alberta Gasfitter Class B (or progressing toward it) is required.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Some positions may require post-secondary education in a related field and/or specific certifications/licenses.
Some positions may require a valid drivers license and clean drivers abstract.
Successful completion of pre-employment screening.
