Wintringham is a renowned not-for-profit organisation providing affordable high-quality housing support aged care and NDIS services to people over 50 who have experienced or are at risk of homelessness. Our care model is built on empowerment partnership and advocacy for older people respecting individuality and striving for equality and social justice. We employ more than 1000 staff across Victoria and Tasmania.

Our Head Office provides the strategic direction and support services for Wintringhams residential housing community care and NDIS services.

Your new role

Were looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Human Resource professional to join our dynamic and closeknit People & Culture this role youll work closely with leaders to embed our values build capability and create safe respectful and highperforming workplaces.

As a trusted advisor youll provide practical solutionsfocused support across the full employee lifecycle - including workforce planning recruitment performance employee relations development and change. Youll tailor your advice to each area while staying aligned with Wintringhams organisational goals.

Your duties and responsibilities will also include (but are not limited to):

  • Partnering with leaders to deliver P&C strategies and supporting organisational goals.
  • Providing timely practical advice across all people matters including complex employee relations.
  • Coaching leaders to build capability and support fair consistent and compliant decisions.
  • Supporting change initiatives and help manage people impacts and workforce risks.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of people policies ensuring compliance and good governance.
  • Ensure accurate employee screening records and workforce data.
  • Supporting workforce planning recruitment retention talent and broader P&C projects.

About you

  • You are minimum undergraduate qualified in a Human Resources Management or related discipline. Your excellent emotional intelligence interpersonal communication skills and attention to detail will be supported by the following:

Previous experience in the following HR functions:

    • change management
    • management of ER/IR issues
    • recruitment and selection / attraction and retention
    • workforce planning and development
    • performance management
    • remuneration reward and recognition; and
    • conflict management
  • Demonstrated ability to provide timely and efficient services set priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and pragmatically with a diverse range of people from varying backgrounds.
  • Commitment to always maintaining strict confidentiality in relation to staff clients and housing residents.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including report writing.
  • Well-developed IT skills - Microsoft suite of products (Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint Teams SharePoint)
  • A current Victorian driving licence
