Description

We are seeking a Compensation and Payroll Specialist for our Global Compensation Team based in Gdynia Poland.

The Compensation and Payroll section is responsible for the delivery of compensation benefits time management and payroll processes within the DNV organization. The service ambition of the unit is to perform and further standardize global processes while delivering support which is tailored to the specific needs of business across different countries. You will also be engaged in various global projects where you will have an opportunity to share and implement your ideas.

In your role you will be:

  • Assisting in salary adjustment and other compensation initiatives such as bonus to ensure accurate and timely execution.
  • Monitoring and analyzing external market trends in payroll benefits and compensation policies and programs internal salary data and benchmarks to support competitive compensation practices.
  • Managing end-to end payroll process with payroll vendor including country-specific allowances benefits and absences.
  • Fostering a close working relationship with Business Representatives HR Partners HR Advisors in various countries and colleagues in HR Administration IT and Finance to ensure consistent and accurate flow of information
  • Supporting employees in HR-related cases through a Case Management Tool
  • Actively contributing to standardization efforts within global and regional compensation processes identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and consistency including the support for strategic digitalization and transformation projects.

Qualifications
To maximize your chances you need to have:
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in a related field (Human Resources Business or Finance a related academic credentials preferred)
  • Preferred 2 years of experience in working within HR area with Compensation or Payroll
  • Excellent written and oral communication in English is required.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office 365 Suite (especially Excel) is required (Power Query Power BI and Power Apps as additional advantages)
  • Demonstrable experience in building and maintaining professional partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Problem solver with a passion for data integrity process definition and continuous learning and improvement
  • Ability to work under pressure in a multitasking and dynamic environment
  • Team player with a high sense of accountability and responsibility
  • Knowledge of the HR system landscape (BMC Service Management Oracle HCM Oracle on-premise) will be an advantage
