As a Security Officer - Armed Flex Manufacturing Sitein Fort Worth TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to drivers warehouse staff vendors and/or visitors by following Allied Universal protocols site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of distribution areas loading docks trailer lots and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or theft.
- Control access at gates and facility entrances by verifying identification logging visitors checking deliveries and pickups and directing traffic flow for trucks and employee vehicles.
- Respond to alarms disturbances and/or incidents in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site leadership and law enforcement as required.
- Complete detailed reports of patrols access activity and incident response and communicate security-related concerns to supervisors and/or client representatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Level III Armed Certification is required for Texas only.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
