One of our customer is looking for a Technical Service Specialist!
Summary
Our customer manufacture high performance industrial printing solutions. They design and produce advanced thermal printers cut-sheet and continuous-fee laser printers mobile printers and production print systems.
Responsibilities
* Provide advanced in house bench support performing technical diagnostics repair and maintenance of installed printer systems.
* Deliver remote troubleshooting support to customers and third party service technicians
* Diagnose and resolve complex electrical mechanical and software-related printer issues in high production environments
* Perform preventative maintenance inspections to ensure optimal performance reliability and longevity of customer equipment.
* Accurately document and troubleshoot processes root cause findings corrective actions and final resolutions.
* Access and apply firmware updates drivers technical documentation an knowledge base resource to support issues.
* Minimum of four years hands on experience supporting and repairing print production equipment.
* Experience working with thermal printers laser printers and industrial printing systems is preferred
* Proficiency in basic computer hardware configuration and firmware setup.
* Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
* Must possess or be able to obtain a valid passport for occasional international travel to corporate HQ in Germany.
