Job Description
As a Security Officer - Flex Armed Patrol in Amarillo TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal you will monitor and patrol a busy entertainment location maintaining a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine rounds observe activity document and report concerns and respond to situations with calm professional judgment. You will also provide welcoming customer service and clear communication supporting a caring culture built on integrity teamwork and reliability.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location including interior areas parking areas and perimeter checks; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Monitor for unusual activity unauthorized access and/or policy violations and take appropriate action to help to deter incidents while maintaining a professional presence.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including de-escalation reporting and coordination with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
- Complete required documentation such as patrol logs incident reports and shift activity reports and communicate significant events to supervision and/or site management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
