Maths Teacher Kensington & Chelsea Inner London September 2026

I am working with an outstanding secondary school in the borough of Kensington & Chelsea seeking to appoint a talented and ambitious Maths Teacher from September 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a school with an aspirational and highly nurturing culture where leaders are unwaveringly ambitious for all pupils. The successful candidate will deliver a carefully sequenced knowledge-rich Mathematics curriculum that enables students to develop deep conceptual understanding and achieve academic excellence.

The appointed Maths Teacher will join a high-performing department committed to exceptional teaching and learning. You will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4 contributing to a curriculum that is ambitious for all learners including disadvantaged pupils and those with SEND ensuring every student makes strong and sustained progress.

Maths Teacher Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality well-sequenced Maths lessons

• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all pupils including SEND and EAL learners

• Monitor pupil progress and implement targeted interventions where necessary

• Promote high expectations of behaviour effort and achievement

• Contribute to curriculum development within the department

• Support enrichment opportunities including clubs competitions and trips

Maths Teacher Person Specification

• UK QTS and a strong academic background in Mathematics

• Proven success teaching Maths at secondary level

• A commitment to high expectations and academic excellence

• The ability to engage and inspire learners of all abilities

• Strong classroom management and organisational skills
