The Clinical Diagnostics Division (CDD)seeksto be our customers most trusted partner by providing innovative diagnostic solutions that improve patient outcomes.
The division is seeking an expert multifaceted Business Unit Finance Directorforour Clinical Diagnostics Reagents (CDR) BU. The business is global and has US-based team spanningsevendirect and indirect reports to provideFP&A factory operations commercial and controllership ownership for the global role includes full P&L management and directly supports the VP/GM of the business unit. This role is ideal for a leader seeking an impactful high visibilityrolegetting results and business transformation passionate about driving profitability and customer satisfaction.

- Actively drive BU performance towards goals via strong business partnership and practical data-backed insight
- Drive AOP / QBR / Strategic planning in a matrixed financial environment ensuring financial decisions support company STRAP / AOP and current market environments
- Ensure strong financial controls compliance andtimelyandaccuratefinancial reportingincluding an emphasis on manufacturing profitability
- Build and develop an impactful finance team passionate about results and partnership
- Provideinput tocommercial finance activities including deal quoting and reviews
- Provide valuable decision support via comprehensive business analysis and models tied to meaningful financial and operational metrics that lead toaccuratedecision-making
- Ability to translate financial and non-financial revenue and marketing metrics into meaningful operating plans to support commercial leaders in driving the business
- Identifyand drive financial improvement operational in key operational areas including manufacturing absorption
- Optimally communicate financial results to broader organization and senior leadership draw insight fromanalysisand develop compelling synthesized recommendations
- Development of commercial proposals highlighting commercial risk and potential
Keys to Success:
Education:
- Bachelors Degree
- 10 years of finance experience in progressive finance in complex global organizations
- 7 years of management experience
- CPA CMA MBA desired by not mandatory.
Experience:
- Strong preference for life sciences or diagnostics proven experience especially with contract manufacturing environment
- Prior experience in a global company and matrixed organization
- Proficient at understanding and proactively presenting the financial implications of business decisions and multifaceted
Knowledge Skills Abilities
- Demonstrated experience applying curiosity to uncover insights and differentiated outcomes where others could not
- Highlyskilled in use of information technology including SAP ERP and Hyperion Financial Management knowledgeof relational databases
- Solid working knowledge of GAAP with public company / corporate finance experience
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills spanning functional and business partners
- Well-developed analytical skills including solid background in driving actions from data insights and using strong analysis to present a situation to management
- Self-motivated witha high levelof flexibility and a strong work ethic to get the job done
- Ability to articulate anddemonstrateknowledge of profit drivers and understand market forces and their impact on future business prospects
- Continuous improvement:Identifyprocess and control gaps and champion improvement initiatives through Practical Process Improvement (PPI) and data visualization
Travel requirements:
10-20% domestic/international travel required
