Software Engineer Intern

At OPSWATs Technology Development Centre in Veszprém we are looking for talented Software Engineer Interns to join our teams who are designing building re-engineering and testing advanced cybersecurity products that protect critical infrastructure worldwide.

Our Internship Program is designed to give you valuable hands-on experience without compromising your starts with the university practice where youll be introduced into real projects and get a taste of our company culture.

Following your university practice youll have the option to continue working with us for three months with a flexible schedule of 20-30 hours per week. This extended opportunity allows you to further develop your skills contribute to ongoing projects and balance your work and academic commitments.

What You Will be Doing

• You will have the opportunity to work on one of these fields:
  • Software Engineering: backend or frontend development of cybersecurity solutions
  • Software Quality Assurance: manual and automated testing with a strong mentorship and training opportunity
• Collaborate with a diverse and skilled team of engineers security experts and researchers.
• Develop or test responsive and interactive user interfaces for our cybersecurity software products using HTML CSS and JavaScript.
• Write clean well-documented and maintainable code following established coding standards and development methodologies.
• Work closely with QA engineers to ensure the quality reliability and compatibility of frontend applications across different browsers and devices.
• Actively participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning stand-up meetings and retrospectives to contribute to team goals and deliver high-quality software products.

What We Are Looking For

• Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree at Pannon University
• Availability to work 2030 hours per week around your university schedule
• Experience with at least one programming language (e.g. C C# Java Python JavaScript)
• Solid understanding of basic networking principles
• Strong command of the English language (both written and verbal)
• Demonstrated excellent teamwork and communication skills
• A naturally curious and proactive approach to learning and problem-solving
• Flexible mindset and well-developed problem-solving skills
