Anesthesia Services Manager – Methodist Hospital

Position Summary:

Come join our incredible anesthesia team at Methodist Hospital! With 21 operating room suites and performing 30-40 surgical cases per day we provide anesthesia for many surgical specialties including Cardiothoracic Eye Urology Plastics Podiatric Vascular Neuro General Bariatric Orthopedic GI OB/GYN GYN/Oncology and Gynecology cases. Our hospital provides variety and a fast-paced environment that will challenge you in your practice as a CRNA. At Park Nicollet CRNAs work in collaboration with our anesthesiologists and are valued empowered and a respected part of the team.

Under the direction of the Sr. Director of Surgical Services and the Medical Director of Anesthesiology the Manager of Anesthesia Services is accountable for directing planning coordinating and supervising activities associated with patient care in the Anesthesia Departments. This includes establishing maintaining and evaluating standards of care and assuming responsibility for staff development environmental human resource and fiscal management. The Manager of Anesthesia Services will meet all requirements for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist and in addition designs leads manages and evaluates the aspects of patient care outcomes staff/leadership resources productivity improvement activities and interdisciplinary collaboration for Anesthesia Services. The Manager of Anesthesia Services ensures that patient care and practice are consistent with internal and external policies standards and contracts. The Manager of Anesthesia Services supports the objectives of PNHA and the department and will participate in attaining these goals.

Work Schedule:

• 1.0 FTE
• M-F; based on business need/On call as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Masters in Anesthesia or related field.
• Three years of experience in the field of Anesthesia
• Licensed as a RN and APRN in State of Minnesota
• Currently certified as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
