Job Summary:

The Quality Section Leader supports the Quality Manager in developing implementing and maintaining Jabils quality management system ensuring product and process compliance with internal standards and customer requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO standards and customer specifications.
• Support the Quality Manager in managing and resolving quality issues including non-conformances corrective actions (CAPA) and preventive actions.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits preparing documentation conducting follow-up activities and ensuring audit findings are addressed effectively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. Production Engineering Supply Chain) to identify root causes of quality problems and implement effective solutions.
• Assist in the training and development of production personnel on quality procedures work instructions and best practices.
• Monitor and analyze quality data preparing reports and presenting findings to management to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support the qualification and monitoring of suppliers ensuring adherence to Jabils quality standards.
• Oversee the calibration and maintenance of quality control equipment.
• Contribute to the review and approval of manufacturing process documentation including work instructions and control plans.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager to support overall quality objectives.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Quality Management or a related technical field.
• 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing environment preferably in electronics manufacturing or a similar industry.
• Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) principles and experience with ISO 9001 or similar quality standards.
• Proven experience with quality tools and methodologies such as Root Cause Analysis 8D FMEA SPC and Lean Manufacturing.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting with strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint).
• Effective communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization and external stakeholders.
