What to expect:
Our 12-week training program in West Salem offers full pay ($16.20/hour) plus benefits! This in-house accredited program provides the knowledge and hands-on skills needed to prepare for the national Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE).
Your training will include hands-on learning at our Holmen Onalaska and La Crosse area pharmacies.
Satisfactory completion of the trainee program attaining certification and successful WI registration as a Pharmacy Technician will allow movement up into a permanent Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) position with Gundersen with a wage of $18.63/hour!
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalency completion of Math and English competency (at time of interview)
Ability to work full-time (scheduled for 40 hours/week) with shifts including Day PM and rotating weekend hours.
Ability to work at the following locations (rotating): West Salem La Crosse Holmen and Onalaska.

3. Once the hiring team reviews the on-demand interview they will select the top candidates to move forward for an interview with the Pharmacy team in March. Candidates will also be required to complete a basic math and English competency assessment at that time.
