Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol-Driver Clearance Required in Independence MO you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. Join Allied Universal on an armed driving patrol post at a manufacturing and industrial location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to calls for service document observations and communicate clearly with site personnel while providing strong customer service. You will support a caring agile team that delivers through teamwork and acts with integrity.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site leadership and public response agencies as directed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of production areas warehouses parking areas and perimeter points checking for unusual activity hazards and/or policy violations and reporting findings.
- Control access through vehicle and/or pedestrian entry points verify identification and authorization and perform inspections of deliveries trucks and outbound loads when assigned.
- Complete detailed daily activity reports and incident reports maintain required logs and handle authorized equipment and firearm in accordance with Allied Universal policies post orders and applicable laws.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 3 years combined law enforcement military and/or security experience or a college degree.
- Have an armed guard card and/or license.
- Have an active DoD Secret clearance.
- Be 21 years of age.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
