Job Description
As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Liaison in Phoenix AZ you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support staff patients and visitors with professional communication and customer service document observations and respond to alarms and requests for assistance. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by following security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas exterior grounds entrances and parking areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and assist with visitor management by verifying authorization issuing badges as directed and documenting entries and exits according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including medical-related disturbances disruptive behavior and facility alarms and notify appropriate personnel as required.
- Complete detailed reports and logs communicate observations to site leadership and support security-related investigations by preserving relevant information in accordance with policy.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
