The Advanced Development teamis responsible forearly-stage development and risk retirement ofhigh riskand high reward design concepts. This team will develop proven ideas that work into the product development pipeline. The team works with a hands-on fail-fast approach iterating through various ideas to develop solutions that have a significant impact on kidney stone management.
In This Role You Will:
- Develop and evaluate mechanical and/or electro-mechanical concepts for improved kidney stone treatment
- Improve benchtop simulations by researching and evaluating clinical use conditions patient anatomicalchallengesand current kidney stone treatments
- Use SolidWorks rapidprototypingand basic prototyping to create models testfixturesand device improvements
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to create solutions that best meets product and/or user needs
- Perform other duties as.

Requirements:
- Education:Recent graduate or current junior/senior pursuing abachelors degree inMechanical or Biomedical Engineeringor related field
- Work location:Pleasanton CA
- Travel:Minimal(5%)
- Full timeemployment
- Proficiencyina3-D modeling software (SolidworksPreferred) and Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Eagerness to learn and accept challenges
- Ability to handle multiple projects and responsibilities and adapt to change
- Ability to solve problems and analyze data
- Ability to think and work independently and in teams
- Compliance with relevant county state and Federal rulesregardingvaccinations.
