The Advanced Development teamis responsible forearly-stage development and risk retirement ofhigh riskand high reward design concepts. This team will develop proven ideas that work into the product development pipeline. The team works with a hands-on fail-fast approach iterating through various ideas to develop solutions that have a significant impact on kidney stone management.

In This Role You Will:

Develop and evaluate mechanical and/or electro-mechanical concepts for improved kidney stone treatment
Improve benchtop simulations by researching and evaluating clinical use conditions patient anatomicalchallengesand current kidney stone treatments
Use SolidWorks rapidprototypingand basic prototyping to create models testfixturesand device improvements
Collaborate with cross functional teams to create solutions that best meets product and/or user needs
Perform other duties as.

Requirements:

Education:Recent graduate or current junior/senior pursuing abachelors degree inMechanical or Biomedical Engineeringor related field
Work location:Pleasanton CA
Travel:Minimal(5%)
Full timeemployment
Proficiencyina3-D modeling software (SolidworksPreferred) and Microsoft Office
Strong attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Eagerness to learn and accept challenges
Ability to handle multiple projects and responsibilities and adapt to change
Ability to solve problems and analyze data
Ability to think and work independently and in teams
Compliance with relevant county state and Federal rulesregardingvaccinations.

Competitive hourly rate of $28/hr (undergrad) - $30.00/hr (graduate students)
