Location: Houston Texas ( 3 days a week ).

Job Description
Data Architect with strong SQL Server architecture experience on Azure.
Should provide guidance on SQL server architecture on Azure and have very good understanding experience of tools around Azure and SQL server.
Azure Expertise: Hands-on with PaaS services (App Services Functions SQL/Cosmos DB Data Factory AKS/Docker); 5 years architecting full stack solutions.
Tech Stack: .NET Core/WebAPI React/Angular (front-end) CI/CD (Azure DevOps) event-driven (Service Bus/Event Hubs).
Experience: 10-15 years total (5 Azure); collaboration with data/integration architects; hybrid/on-site Houston work.
Certifications: AZ-305 (Solutions Architect Expert) AZ-204 AZ-400.
Soft Skills: Leadership in solution design stakeholder communication cloud security/migrations

Azure Data Architect:
Core Expertise: Strong SQL Server architecture on Azure; guidance on design migration optimization.
Key Tools: Azure Data Factory Synapse SQL DB Blob Storage SSIS Power BI.
Experience: 7-10 years data architecture 3-5 years Azure; enterprise/hybrid cloud projects.
Responsibilities: Architect HA/scaling/security; ETL builds; data governance/roadmaps.
Skills: MS SQL PowerShell CI/CD Agile; Houston bonus: Oil & Gas domain.
