Position Summary
Responsible for a broad range of strategic operational and administrative duties to include owning the Learning Management System (LMS) content functionality and use oversight for training development and creating a structure to ensure qualification and certification of known and emerging requirements supports the growth within PROENERGY Services. This oversight includes internal and external training Health & Safety (H&S) technical training and compliance programs.his position is required to help create and then deliver training on PE6000 LM6000 and LM2500 turbines

Position Responsibilities
  • Strategic Alignment:Ensuring training departments and programs directly support organizational goals and business needs.
  • Needs Assessment:Identifying skill gaps through surveys performance evaluations and stakeholder consultations.
  • Operational Management:Scheduling training sessions coordinating with internal stakeholders and managing technical trainers.
  • Curriculum Improvement:Drive the improvement in curriculum either through in-house development or partnering with other organizations. This may require existing or development of Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) knowledge in support of in-house curriculum development.
  • Safety & Compliance:Working with the H&S and compliance team ensure all OHSA NERC and other required training is available and established in qualifications within the LMS.
  • Program Management:Oversee and administer the LMS (Vector) in support of various departments. This includes internal training on Vectors LMS automatic input of new employees training budgets manage vendor relationships for specialized services and tracking employee certification and qualifications.
  • Technical Instruction:Lead hands-on demonstrations and classroom sessions covering power generation systems rotating machinery and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:Partner with other PROENERGY groups to fully utilize the LMS to support closing emerging skill gaps and align training with operational and business goals.
  • Evaluation:Measuring program effectiveness using metrics and participant feedback to calculate return on investment (ROI).
Required Qualifications
  • Education:Bachelors degree in a technical discipline or a related experience.
  • Experience:5 years in power generation or industrial maintenance with at least 13 years in ateaching or facilitationcapacity. LM6000 or LM2500 experience
  • Minimum of 5 years in-depth gas turbine experience is required.
  • Experience with Vectors LMS desired but not required.
  • Master Training Specialist (MTS) or equivalent preferred.
  • US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.
  • Candidate must also pass a State and Federal criminal history/security background check and pre-employment drug screen.
