Hunter New England Local Health District is seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Officer Level 1 or Level 2 to join our Oral Health team in Tamworth. For Level 2 Applicants: Minimum of 2 years clinical experience post registration in Australia or equivalent. Adequate experience as a general practitioner dentist to perform the full range of duties and manage dental health problems of greater than usual difficulty.
Tertiary qualifications in Dentistry recognised by the Dental Board of Australia and registration with AHPRA. Possess skills of clinical reasoning.
Demonstrate the ability to work in a team setting with other practitioners and health professionals.
Demonstrate the skills of communication with patients. Show understanding and empathy for delivering patient care.
