Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed-Mobile Driver Clearance Required in Fort Worth TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location as an armed patrol officer in a dynamic mission-focused setting. You will perform routine foot and vehicle patrols maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents control access and respond to alarms and reports with clear communication and strong customer service. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors employees and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including coordinating notifications documenting actions taken and/or supporting first responders as directed by post orders.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings production and office areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Control access at entry points by verifying identification reviewing visitor and/or delivery authorization and managing badge and key control processes in accordance with site requirements.
- Complete timely reports such as patrol logs incident reports and shift handoff notes and communicate unusual conditions to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.
- Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement military and/or security-related experience OR a college degree.
- Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess Level III Armed Certification Texas only.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
