What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to the client by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a retail distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including assisting with incident documentation and communicating updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior and exterior areas such as entrances parking areas yard areas and dock perimeters; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity by checking identification managing sign-in and/or badge processes and directing drivers vendors and associates to the appropriate areas in accordance with site policy.
• Observe and report suspicious activity hazards and/or policy violations utilize cameras and other monitoring equipment as assigned and complete shift logs and reports in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
