Job Description
As a Security Officer - Flex Access Driver in Antioch CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. You will maintain a visible presence conduct routine patrols and communicate concerns to help reduce security-related incidents while delivering standout customer service. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to all visitors contractors and employees by following site-specific access control procedures badging requirements and Allied Universal policies.
- Control entry and exit at gates and/or lobbies by verifying identification validating appointments and/or work orders issuing temporary credentials as directed and maintaining access logs.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including notifying site leadership and/or emergency services per post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around production areas warehouses parking areas and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and other security-related concerns.
- Complete security-related reports and documentation such as shift activity logs incident reports and access control records and communicate key information during shift transitions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Security Experience 2 Years is required.
- TSA Issued TWIC is required.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
