Skills & Responsibilities:
- Supports the preparation and maintenance of the Technical Document Register (TDR). Reviews Basis of Design philosophies specifications and other relevant documents and reports discrepancies to the Lead Engineer.
- Assists in preparation of project deliverables including Philosophies Specifications Shutdown Cause & Effect Charts Schedules Drawings & Diagrams Datasheets and Technical Requisitions for Long Lead Items.
- Participates in Factory Acceptance Tests and reviews vendor documentation under guidance of Lead C&I Engineer to ensure design conformance.
- Ensures equipment compatibility and compliance with client specifications project requirements and quality procedures (ISO 9001 / ISO 14001).
- Interfaces with other disciplines to support integrated and optimal design. Performs other engineering tasks and assignments as directed by Lead Engineer.
- Complying with other Kent accredited frameworks such as ISO 14001.
- Interfaces with other disciplines as necessary to ensure integrated and optimal design
In addition to the responsibilities listed herein the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employees skills capabilities and role within the organization. The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the organization ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. All such tasks will be assigned considering the employees current workload and with respect to their professional development.
Yourknowledge/skillseducationandexperience:
- Typically Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Working towards chartership is advantageous.
- Experience working for Engineering / Client organisations in the Oil and Gas Industry.
- Exposure to Consultancy FEED / Detailed Design and EPC projects.
- Knowledge of international equipment specifications and codes.
- In depth knowledge of standard international specifications and codes.
- Knowledge of Safety and Quality procedures.
Communication:
- Excellent command of the English language in both oral and written communication and skills.

- Works well with others sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues.
- Delivers work on time while maintaining quality and meeting project milestones.
