Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Communications Driver in Marietta GA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. As a Dispatch Officer supporting a leading aerospace and defense location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and provide timely response to calls. This position is both armed and driving requiring you to maintain a visible presence while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. What Youll Do:
- Monitor and manage incoming and outgoing communications for the location including phone calls radio transmissions and electronic messages to support security-related operations.
- Coordinate with on-site personnel and Allied Universal team members to dispatch appropriate responses to incidents and requests for assistance.
- Maintain detailed logs and records of all incidents dispatch activities and communications as required by site-specific policies.
- Assist in monitoring access control systems and visitor management procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following established protocols for the location.
- Provide customer service to clients guests and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and supporting emergency response activities as needed.
- Support the implementation of site-specific security-related policies and procedures in an aerospace and defense environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement military or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
- Possess an armed guard card or license as required.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Handcuffing certification is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
