Job Title: Radiology Technologist
Location: Aventura Florida
Position Type: Full-Time Permanent
Position Overview
A leading healthcare facility in Aventura Florida is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join its imaging department. The Radiology Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety comfort and high-quality imaging standards.
This role requires technical expertise attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with radiologists physicians and clinical staff in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
Operate and maintain radiologic equipment safely and effectively.
Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and infection control guidelines.
Verify patient identity and review imaging requests for accuracy.
Assist radiologists and physicians during procedures as needed.
Maintain accurate documentation and patient records in the electronic medical system.
Provide compassionate patient care and clear instructions before during and after procedures.
Required Qualifications
Active ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
Current Florida state Radiologic Technologist license.
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Current BLS certification (if required by facility).
Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures and radiation safety standards.
Excellent communication and patient care skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior hospital-based imaging experience.
Experience with digital radiography and PACS systems.
Ability to work flexible shifts if needed.
