As a Airport Security Professional - Curbside Patrolin Lihue HI you will safeguard the airport staff and its facilities. Along with driving patrolling checking and securing doors.As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal serving a government location you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for all visitors and staff. Position Type: Part Time - Afternoon/Morning

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $3.93. The premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

• Valid Drivers License (1 years)
• 21 years of age
• Ability to pass a background check physical and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
• Experience in CCTV Monitoring and 1 year of security experience

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors passengers and staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of terminals parking areas perimeters and other assigned areas; working environments and conditions may vary by post and/or location.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials and/or authorizations as directed and help to control access to restricted areas in accordance with post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including assisting with crowd management and/or directing individuals to appropriate resources.
• Document routine patrol activity incidents and unusual observations in required logs and reports and communicate timely updates to Allied Universal leadership and/or on-site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1 years of security experience.
• Be 21 years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
