Position Overview
The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations leading production teams and ensuring that safety quality and productivity goals are consistently achieved. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about developing people and improving processes.
You will partner closely with operations quality and leadership teams to drive performance maintain standards and support continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Supervise coach and develop production employees to meet performance expectations and foster a positive team environment
- Production Management: Plan coordinate and oversee daily production activities to meet schedules and customer demands
- Quality Oversight: Ensure adherence to quality standards and processes addressing issues quickly to maintain product integrity
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency reduce waste and enhance workflow
- Staffing & Performance: Manage staffing levels monitor attendance and support performance management and training efforts
- Reporting & Metrics: Track and analyze key production metrics such as output labor efficiency and downtime
- Safety & Compliance: Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Strong organizational problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Effective communication and team leadership skills
- Basic computer skills for reporting and production tracking
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required
