Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol in Camden AR you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols maintain a visible presence that helps reduce security-related incidents and respond to alarms access concerns and urgent situations with calm communication. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients employees and/or visitors by following post orders site-specific policies and security-related procedures including emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Carry and maintain authorized firearms and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policy licensing requirements and site rules; complete required checks documentation and/or reporting.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings production areas parking lots and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
- Monitor access control points by verifying credentials managing visitor entry processes and/or controlling access to restricted areas in accordance with site requirements.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including alarm response investigative actions and timely communication with site contacts and/or public emergency services.
Minimum Requirements:
- An armed guard card/license is required.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
