Job Summary

Position Purpose:

The Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at the Company plays a pivotal role in steering the direction of our business operations propelling both revenue generation and sustainable growth. This role primarily involves orchestrating highly strategic initiatives encompassing sales marketing product development and customer service to meet and exceed company targets. The CCO is tasked with creating and driving the execution of impactful sales strategies fostering strategic partnerships and promoting operational alignment in line with the companys mission and vision.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Formulate and execute strategic commercial initiatives to maximize growth in both direct and partner sales channels contributing to overall revenue and profitability.

2. Oversight of all commercial operations.

3. Strategize and implement result-oriented sales strategies across a diverse portfolio to enhance customer base gain market share and reach revenue objectives.

4. Partner with the Div President to set organizational vision devise operational strategies determine recruitment needs and define quantifiable goals.

5. Identify develop and administer strategic partnerships to further increase the companys footprint and market visibility within targeted industry sectors.

6. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of current market trends emerging technologies and legislative regulations to ensure competitive advantage and regulatory compliance.

7. Leverage data analysis and reporting to make informed business decisions optimize operations and improve financial performance.

8. Foster a high-performance culture through inspirational leadership talent development and the encouragement of innovation and continuous improvement within all commercial teams.

Direct Manager Direct Reports:

Direct Manager / Direct Reports:

The Commercial Officer (CCO) will directly report to the President of the Division. Direct reports include national sales.

The individual is responsible for aligning departmental strategies with the overall commercial objectives of the Company. As such the CCO provides strategic direction and leadership to a large team and manages inter-departmental collaboration to achieve company-wide objectives.

The CCO is responsible for the performance management development and recruitment of their direct reports ensuring the right skills and resources are in place to deliver against set objectives. Regular reporting of departmental successes challenges and strategic initiatives to the Exec Leadership and other members of the executive team is expected.

Leadership effective communication and the ability to foster collaborative relationships within and outside the organization are key attributes for this role.

Travel Requirements:

The Chief Commercial Officer is expected to undertake domestic and international travel as necessary for the effective execution of the job role including participation in key strategic meetings visiting company branches and essential industry events with the frequency to be determined based on business needs.

This is a sedentary role which primarily involves sitting for extended periods and using standard office equipment such as computers telephones and photocopiers. The person in this role would frequently require close visual acuity to perform actions such as preparing and analyzing data and figures. Minimum Qualifications:

Technical Proficiencies:

3. Demonstrated expertise in analytic tools for data visualization and business insights.

4. Fluency in executing sales and marketing strategies using digital platforms.

5. Thorough understanding of current commercial technologies and ability to quickly adapt to new technologies to drive operational efficiency.

6. Knowledge of key financial principles necessary for budgeting and financial planning.

Requirements:

4. Highly developed communication skills both verbal and written.

5. Successful track record of managing large diverse portfolios and setting the strategic direction to steer profitability.

6. Demonstrable success in devising and implementing sales and marketing strategies aligning with positive ROI.

7. Strong financial literacy with demonstrated experience in budgeting and fiscal management.

8. Advanced degree in business marketing or related fields is strongly preferred.

9. Previous experience in negotiation and formulation of business partnerships or joint ventures.

10. Prior exposure in supervising market research competitive analysis and customer behavior to formulate strategic plans.

11. Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced dynamic environment without compromising on quality and timelines.

12. Excellent public speaking and presentation skills and the ability to effectively engage with a range of stakeholders including staff board members and external partners.

13. Experience in utilizing analytics and metrics to measure performance and guide commercially driven decisions.

14. Track record of developing and mentoring high-performing teams.

15. Proficient in the latest industry related software and platforms as well as common office software suites.

Minimum Education:

The candidate must hold a Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or a related field. An MBA is strongly preferred.

Preferred Education:

An advanced degree such as an MBA or a related discipline from a globally recognized and respected institution is highly preferred. Additional qualifications of pertinence to strategic commercial operations leadership and management such as executive leadership programs or corporate strategy certifications would be advantageous.

Minimum Years Of Work Experience:

Minimum Qualification: The candidate should have a minimum of 15 years of executive experience in a highly strategic and leadership role within an organization of Fortune 50 scale or equivalent.

Certifications:

1. MBA degree or equivalent certification is strongly preferred.

2. Professional certification in sales strategy or equivalent is highly desirable.

3. Certification or vast experience in operational efficiency and strategic implementation.

4. Preferably certified in data analysis and financial reporting.

5. Relevant industry-specific certifications can add to the uniqueness and competitiveness of the candidate.

6. Market-focused certifications to showcase understanding and predicting market trends would be advantageous.

7. Certification in leadership or team management is desired.

8. Experience or certification in compliance and regulatory affairs would be an asset.
